Introducing The Tether Directory!

Big news, y'all: We just launched the Tether Directory, a curated online listing of the best image-makers in the city. It’s the best way to find and get found; a searchable, one-stop shop for commercial and editorial photographers, stylists, creative directors, and more!

Head to www.tethercincinnati.com/join. Your profile consists of three parts: About, Specialties, and a personalized Profile.

First up is the About section.

Here, enter your full name, email address, and a link to your portfolio. Create an easy-to-remember password. You’ll get a free Tether Membership when you join the Directory, so click Save and Continue.

Now it’s time to choose your Specialties

The talents that define you as a creative. First, select your Area (or areas) of Expertise. Is photography your bread and butter? Choose Photographer. Then, you can choose a Specialty (or Specialties!) Do you create fantastic magazine editorials? Are you a genius with food? There’s a specialty for that. Once you’ve selected all your skills, click Save and Continue.

Profile time!

This pic and text are the first thing folks will see in search results, so make ‘em count. Choose a profile picture that best represents you or your work. Enter a short description of who you are—it should be short and sweet, like your Instagram profile. Upload up to five of your best portfolio images to your profile, and all the social links your heart desires - Insta, Facebook, Twitter, and so on.

Next, tell prospective clients and collaborators about yourself.

What makes you tick? How do you find inspiration, and why does that make your work stand out? What qualities do you bring to the table? Try to keep it to 100 words or less.

Then, click Save and Continue for the last time.

You’ll get a confirmation email letting you know we’re verifying your account, and once your profile has been approved, you’ll receive a welcome email. That’s it!
